Mr Om Pathak  has been a member of Indian Administrative Services (IAS). He served in the State of Uttar Pradesh after spending six years in the Indian Army.

He is the Founder and Chairman of the DPSG Society. He conceived the School Sports Promotion Foundation, which conducted Schools India Cup 2016 in cricket and football, involving 1200 schools and more than 23000 boys across 20 States of India. Mr. Pathak is a member on the Prime Ministers’ Olympics Task Force. The Task force is to submit a comprehensive plan for the next three Olympic Games - 2020, 2024, 2028.
